TRANSPORTATION

Mid-Delta offers a wide range of low-cost transportation services
to the general public, including non-emergency medical
transportation.  Our services are offered to residents living in
Phillips, Monroe, Prairie, and Lee Counties and are designed to
provide transportation to and from rural areas that previously
had little or no transit services.

Transportation can include rides to and from service providers
for dialysis, medical and mental health appointments,
employment, personal and shopping needs.

MEDICAID CLIENTS

Clients eligible for Medicaid, that have been referred by their doctor to an out-of-area physician for non-emergency medical treatment, can be transported at “no cost” to their appointments.  Medicaid guidelines allow “no cost” transportation for Medicaid clients to and from “Medicaid providers only” and does not cover  transit services for  personal needs.

Reservations must be made at least two (2) business days before you need a ride to your medical appointment, unless the appointment is a follow-up visit, release from hospital or if the appointment is considered urgent (non-emergency) care by your doctor.  Medicaid guidelines allow “no cost” transportation for Medicaid clients to and from “Medicaid providers only” and does not cover transit services for personal needs.
