WEATHERIZATION
The purpose of the Weatherization Program
is to apply energy efficient measures to
homes of low-income, elderly, and disabled
people. The procedure used by this program
provides energy conservation and helps
people by decreasing their utility costs.
Some of the measures used include attic
insulation, caulking, and replacing broken
windows and entry doors, storm windows
and energy saving bulbs.
Home Energy Counseling is provided to the clients and includes inexpensive ways they can maximize savings on their energy usage.
If you need information about applying for the Weatherization Program, pick up an application at any of our Community Centers or call (870) 338-3411.
